Each year the ACT Government prepares a four-year Indicative Land Release Program (the Program) to accompany the Territory Budget. The Program sets out the Government’s intended land releases of residential, mixed use, commercial, industrial, and community and non-urban land. The Program is designed to align and support the Government’s strategic priorities. The Program also enables Government to deliver on a range of policy initiatives including those related to land development, housing affordability, public housing renewal, suburban sustainability, and to seek and promote international investment opportunities in the ACT land market. The Indicative Land Release Program for 2017-18 to 2020-21 was released on 6 June 2017.
